Safety & Security
What safety measures do you have in place?
Our home-like setting in Nestor is equipped with secure entry systems, childproofed environments, and strict pick-up authorization protocols. All caregivers are trained in pediatric first aid and CPR, and we maintain a low child-to-caregiver ratio for constant supervision.
How do you handle emergencies?
We have comprehensive emergency plans for fire, earthquake, and medical situations. Regular drills are conducted with the children in an age-appropriate manner. Parents are notified immediately of any incident, and we maintain close communication with local emergency services.
Enrollment & Hours
What is your enrollment process?
We begin with a phone consultation to discuss your child's needs, followed by a scheduled tour of our facility. After the tour, we provide enrollment paperwork and discuss availability. We recommend starting the process at least 2-4 weeks before your desired start date.
Do you offer weekend childcare?
Yes, we understand the needs of working parents and offer limited weekend care options. Availability varies, so please call us at (619) 408-7637 to discuss current weekend openings and scheduling.
What are your operating hours?
Our regular hours are Monday through Tuesday, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We offer flexible scheduling within these hours to accommodate different family needs. Extended hours may be available by special arrangement.
Programs & Services
What age groups do you serve?
We provide nurturing care for infants (starting at 6 weeks), toddlers, and preschool-aged children up to 5 years. Each age group has a developmentally appropriate curriculum focused on social, emotional, and cognitive growth in our warm, home-like environment.
What educational activities do you provide?
Our program includes age-appropriate learning through play, story time, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor activities in our safe play areas. We focus on developing early literacy, numeracy, and social skills while encouraging curiosity and creativity.

What is included in your pricing?
Our fees include all educational materials, nutritious snacks, and daily activities. We provide a detailed breakdown of costs during your tour and consultation. Pricing varies based on age group and schedule (full-time, part-time, or weekend care).
What is your sick child policy?
To maintain a healthy environment for all children, we require children with fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious illnesses to remain home until symptom-free for 24 hours. We follow San Diego County health guidelines for childcare facilities.
